MGB Agent is a project designed to become a helpful front desk agent for the Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office 3. It aims to answer common questions, help customers and clients with their queries, and guide them throughout the process. MGB Agent is an AI Agent powered by Retrieval Augmented Generation Technology or RAG. It fetches a known amount of information to answer user queries. To achieve such integration, I leveraged OpenAI, LangChain, and Streamlit to create a working user interface and apply LLM workflows. Database integration with vector stores using Supabase was also considered.

I trained a Reinforcement Learning Model (RLM) as a Crypto Trading Agent. I developed a custom environment and a robust reward mechanisms to train it. I experimented with numerous Stable Baselines 3 models, and Alpaca API for fetching and executing dummy trades. Plotly and numpy was also utilized for backtesting.

As a chemist, I have worked on numerous projects related to bioinformatics and computational biology. One of the highlights of my career is by using the DOST ASTI - High Performance Computer (HPC). My research work requires significant amount of computational resources to move forward and this lead us to coordinate and collaborate with COARE. Moreover, I also take on many research clients that are interested in the same field. Some of them leverages Artificial Intelligence and others tapped on the advanced computational methods.

open_in_browserIOT Projects
I am actively involved in IoT-based projects focused on sustainable and data-driven solutions. One of my key projects is a solar-powered real-time physico-chemical monitoring system for aquaculture. This device continuously measures parameters such as pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen, and ammonia levels, helping ensure optimal water quality while operating independently in off-grid environments. I am also developing an AI-powered camera system that uses computer vision to analyze real-time visual data for applications in environmental monitoring and automation. These projects reflect my interest in integrating IoT and AI technologies to create intelligent systems that support efficient, responsive, and remote operations.
This Website :)
Oh yes! It is totally valid to include this website, aint it? I made this using plain-vanilla HTML and CSS with a touch of GSAP animation. For the backend, I mainly use Django since I am more of a Pythonista than a JS aficionado. This was also deployed using a free-tier Vercel account (which is also why this website is slow).
