Finished BS Chemistry here @ NEUST
Took my diploma last '16. Passed the board exam afterwards then geared for the working dream.
Ever since, I practiced my profession and grow exponentially.
Working in a testing lab is a great experience. Great environment too!
Made strong connections with my colleagues.
We also hangout sometimes and embark on different adventure.
I went back to NEUST to teach. Here, I discovered my passion to research.
I taught Chemistry and Geospatial Subjects for Environmental Science
It was the best time to do research and build up connections with different geniuses.
Data, data, data! I love data. Immersion with geospatial research made me a self-proclaimed data nerd.
The research culture started to become monotonous. Perhaps due to conservatism. Decided to enter graduate school afterwards.
Went into Adamson University for my Graduate School. It's a different phase but sure it is a very fruitful one as I learn new things again.
Digital tools and Machine learning for molecules piqued my interest. This pushed me into the void of computer science of Chemistry. Fancy people call it computational chemistry.
During my master's thesis, I developed keen interest in molecular dynamics simulation. I chose to work viral mutation informatics for SARS-CoV-2 monitoring.
I applied as a Science Research Specialist at DENR - MGB.
Finished my MS last July, 2024. Something big is next.
Working in government was a very good opportunity to connect with the community and build professional connections along the way.
